NEW AGM BATTERIES ABOVE 100AH
Landport has add four kind of batteries above the 100Ah to its AGM battery line, namely AGM 105, AGM 130, AGM 180, AGM 200. These four AGM batteries have official DIN sizes.
The abbreviation AGM stands for ABSORBED GLASS MATERIAL. As material it uses the fiberglass as insulator which is soaked with a diluted sulfuric acid. The properties, include the launch of this capacity, is a big leap forward and this is making that the AGM batteries can be built smaller. AGM batteries are also up to 60% discharge, without harming the battery. The battery can be fully loaded, with a suitable charger, in 5 to 6 hours, while a lead-acid battery needs 10 to 12 hours. The AGM battery is made average for 400 to 500 charges and discharges under the right circumstances.
