The 2015 season will be continued this week in the "Cathedral" of motorcycle racing, at Assen, the Netherlands. After a successful test in Barcelona, Sandro Cortese and the Dynavolt Intact GP team are facing now the famous Dutch TT.

Rain or no rain? That was the question for the Dutch Grand Prix in 2014. In the weather chaos the Intact GP team played tyre poker, but unfortunately they bet on the wrong card. As another rain came down, it was clear soon that Sandro was on a losing battle with slick tyres. This year, the conditions could be changeable again.

However, the Kalex rider arrived with a very good feeling at Assen, because despite of the crash in the Barcelona Grand Prix, he and his team were able to make progress since Mugello. The 25-year-old kept the upward trend during a test after the race in Catalunya. This Saturday it counts to implement his performance in the race and to improve the 14th position in the overall World Championship standings.

"It feels good to be back at Assen," commented Sandro Cortese on Wednesday afternoon before his track walk. "We have made a good step forward throughout the weekend in Barcelona. And on the test day we had the chance to work out further details. The TT Circuit is one of the most beautiful tracks of the year. I am really looking forward to ride here. I like the fast, flowing layout!"

Since its construction in 1949, is the TT Circuit Assen is playing host of the Motorcycle World Championship. Traditionally, the Dutch TT is been held on Saturday. Which means, that the first free practice sessions will take place on Thursday, the qualifying on Friday.
